Gabbard Fulfills Gold Star Widow’s Request, Visits Slain Husband’s Grave on Memorial Day

X user @SharrellAnne2 lost her husband to the “War on Terror” in 2007, and she did not want his grave to go unvisited on Memorial Day. That’s why she published this post, hoping that someone in the DC area would stop by his Arlington National Cemetery burial site on her behalf. That person turned out to be Tulsi Gabbard.

Gabbard visited SSG Alan W. Shaw’s grave on Monday, taking a photo and responding to @SharrellAnne2’s tweet with a message that few other Washington officials could credibly deliver. 

“It was an honor to visit your husband’s grave today on your behalf, and to pay my respects,” the outgoing Director of National Intelligence wrote. “Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the loved ones they left behind,” she added.

Gabbard, Joe Kent, and all others whose loved ones have died in globalist wars deeply understand the havoc these needless conflicts have wreaked on our country. When they weigh in on foreign policy, our leaders should carefully listen.
